Yezidis (also spelled as Yazidis) are ethnic group who speak Kurdish language but confess their own religion — Yezidism. Estimated number of Yezidis in the world is around 1 million people.

In Georgia there are about 12 thousands Yezidis. Koma Stark (Group Star) members live in Tbilisi. This recording was made in a private garage in Varketili district on 8th March 2018.

Many of Yezidi folk songs are common with muslim Kurds, while some are unique (e.g. track 5).
